BEATITUDES IN REVELATION

BEATITUDES IN REVELATION

The Book of Revelation is one of God’s great gifts to His  church.   God is the Power and He loves us with a tough- love.  This Book reveals in a "poetic” way the things which were, the things which are, and the things which will be  [Rev. 1:19].

Revelation unveils our world and gives Hope! Beyond  the rise and fall of empires, the afflictions of the righteous, and the turmoil of life in general, God’s Purpose must and does prevail.   We live in God's Universe, not in a mad chaos.   Beyond Space and Time, there is the perfect fellowship of the People of God with Him!  Blessed be!   Christ is Coming!

Revelation shows us that the battle between the church and the devil is not determined on earth.  It has already been settled in heaven!  The Act of God in Christ meant the downfall of Satan, and every act of Christian sacrifice confirms it.  John's "vision" shows us that the devil, driven from the presence of God, becomes the enemy of all who seek to do God's will, using every weapon he can find to try to defeat the purpose of the Creator.  The old covenant passed into the New Covenant , and with the triumph of Christ Jesus the sovereignty of God over the whole world has been assured forever (Rev. 11:14-19)!

Rev. 1:3  “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear..”      Blessing to:  reader; hearer; keeper.  Compare Col. 4:16;  Hebrews 2:10; Eph. 1:20-21.
